FAQs

What types of furniture can you reupholster?

We can reupholster most residential and light commercial pieces, including sofas, sectionals, armchairs, dining chairs, benches, ottomans, headboards, and some antique or heirloom items. If you are unsure about a specific piece, send us a photo and rough dimensions and we can confirm.

Can you match my existing decor or replicate a current piece?

Yes. We offer a wide range of fabrics, trims, and finishes and can work from photos, fabric swatches, or an existing piece in your home. We will discuss your style, colors, and practical needs (kids, pets, heavy use) to recommend fabrics and details that coordinate with your space.

What window treatments do you offer?

We create custom drapes, curtains, Roman shades, valances, cornices, and basic fabric shades. We can also help you with lining options (sheer, light-filtering, blackout) and hardware recommendations such as rods, tracks, and decorative hardware.

How does the custom upholstery and window treatment process work?

First, we discuss your needs and budget and review photos or measurements. Next, we help you select fabrics and finishes and provide a quote. Once approved, we schedule pickup or drop-off of your furniture or take on-site measurements for window treatments. After fabrication, we arrange delivery and installation where applicable.

How long does a typical project take?

Lead times vary by project size and fabric availability, but most upholstery projects are completed in about 3–6 weeks after final approval. Custom window treatments typically take 3–5 weeks. We will provide a more accurate timeframe when we prepare your quote.

Can I use my own fabric?

In many cases, yes. We call this COM (Customer’s Own Material). We will let you know how many yards you need and review your fabric choice to ensure it is suitable for upholstery or window treatments. Please note that COM projects may have specific terms regarding warranties and liability.

How much does custom upholstery or window treatment work cost?

Pricing depends on the size and complexity of the piece, fabric selection, and any special details such as tufting, nailhead trim, or pattern matching. We provide itemized estimates before any work begins, and we are happy to suggest options to fit a range of budgets.
